BUDD, Clayton - Putnam

Clayton C. Budd, 81, south Kansas City, a former business owner, died Wednesday in a nursing home at 8039 Holmes Road. Mr. Budd owned and operated Wornall Auto Trim in the 1940s and Divco Truck Sales in the 1950s. He also was a service manager for National Dairies before he retired. He was a member of the Breakfast at Eight Club.  He was born in Guion, Ind and had lived in this area 41 years. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Josephine Rogers Budd of the home; a brother, Vernis Budd, Waveland, Ind and a sister, Mrs. Helen Grimes, Russellville, Ind. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Freeman Chapel; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-8:30 p.m today at the chapel. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
